Hi,

I'm impressed with the product but in our corporate environment we use SQL Server 2005. I have edited the settings.php so that Apache connects to the database. I know this because I'm no longer getting the connection errors but instead errors like this one:

Warning: mssql_query() [function.mssql-query]: message: Invalid object name 'sorting'. (severity 16) in C:\phpCollab-xampp\htdocs\phpcollab\includes\request.class.p hp on line 53

Basically it's because the tables are not there. According to the intro_install guide the tables are created during setup but this isn't happening and yes I am setting the connection settings before running the install. I've tried it on a fresh XP machine just to be sure.

Can someone provide me with an sql script to setup all the necessary database objects? I've searched the files but can only find the scripts for mysql and postgresql

Using SQL Server 2005 as the back-end database server will allow me to integrate phpCollab with our other servers. We already have a PHP website (running on RHEL) that with an SQL Server 2005 back end and it works very well and I'm eager for us to start using more PHP !!

Many thanks

Jack

Jack,

Thanks for the comments. In regards to your issue, are you using the CVS version of phpCollab?

regards,
Jeff

Jeff,

I think so, downloaded it from here:

http://sourceforge.net/projects/phpcollab/files/

Cheers

Jack

Jack,

Most likely you snagged an old copy. I just uploaded a CVS version under the beta releases. You might give that a try.
